Michael Jackson is a strange person

I have a confession. I didn't watch most of MUST SEE TV last in order to watch the special on Michael Jackson. I have a sickness, I know. I'm working on curing it.

But, I found it very interesting...

Of course, he's the strange, mildly freaky, face-altering man that I always thought he was. But on the other hand, he also has this...naivet and innocence about him.

As far as altering his face, I totally don't believe him that he hasn't done anything besides the two surgeries on his nose. His face has changed WAY too much to be natural. I know at least two people with vitaligo, and they mostly have spots of skin discoloration on their hands. It's not total. You can still see their original skin color on most of their bodies. Michael Jackson has done something to change his appearance. BUT, I think that his theory is that if you wish hard enough for something to be true, it will be. He denies that he altered anything but his nose because that's what he truly wishes would have happened. He truly wishes that he would have become white, gotten a new eye shape and tighter skin, a cleft in his chin, and stronger cheekbones on his own. So that's what he chooses to believe.

The theory about wishes may also account for his feelings that sleeping with children in your bed is not wrong. His childhood was awful. He was beaten and verbally abused by his father, and seems to have been seen as a money-making pet monkey or something. He didn't have enough love as a child. He sees allowing children in his bed as an effort to make up for all the love he didn't get as a child. He sees it as his mission to give other kids the love that he didn't get. But, he's going WAY from one end of the spectrum to the other. It's not right.

He also doesn't see anything wrong with allowing children to stay in his room as being wrong because he truly doesn't see himself as a 44-year-old man. He is obsessed with Peter Pan, with staying young forever. He sees himself as a child, and these children as his peers. To him, it's more like a sleepover with friends than a dirty-old-man/young boy situation.

I just think that if he did consciously know that having young boys stay with him was actually wrong, he would stop because he would be afraid of prosecution and being thrown in jail where he wouldn't be able to take care of his children. He hasn't stopped. He is convinced that it is his mission in life to make up for the latch-key kids, the single parent families, the abusive home situations that exist in the country today. But, the truth is that it's not up to him. He can't make everything right by treating the children who come into his presence as special as he does. It's not in his power.

Now, granted, these are just my theories. I don't know if they're true or not. He could in fact be the Anti-Christ who sexually abuses kids for his own amusement and pleasure. But I think in order to be a hardened criminal, you have to be a) exceptionally intelligent, and b) hardened. That man is about as soft as Jell-O.

Okay, enough about Michael Jackson. When I was in the shower this morning (*porn music starts up*), I was washing my face vigorously with my exfoliating stuff as I normally do. While doing this, I accidentally shoved a finger up my left nostril HARD. It hurt like a mofo. I really hoped that wasn't a harbringer of how the rest of the day would go.
