Dear Neighbors:
While you may think that shooting off fireworks at 11:30 PM on a Sunday night is a good idea, I'd have to disagree with you on that.
It's not.
In fact, it's pretty rude.
You have a week until July 4th. Kindly either wait until then to shoot off fireworks, or do it earlier in the evening, when people (me) aren't thisclose to falling completely asleep, thereby causing people (me) to wake up thinking that a war has started.

You know what's cool? Knowing the manager of the cheap movie theater a couple towns away, and knowing that you can see movies essentially for free whenever he's there. (And bringing in alcohol to mix in with your soda. Not like we've ever done that *cough*JackDaniel's*cough* before.)
You know what else is cool? Having a whole movie theater to yourself. But not celebrating with some hanky panky. Because that would just be weird.
And another cool thing? When the movie goes all wonky, and the frame starts to burn, and you get to go up to the projection room to see a) how movie theaters work, and b) how movies that break are re-spliced.
You know what's not so cool? Knowing the manager of a cheap movie theater who then goes up into the projection room and shoots popcorn kernals at you and your husband through the little window thingie, and you know it's him because you can hear him up there, giggling.
Movie theaters ROCK!
As does the movie Walking Tall. Because the Rock is actually a good actor. Shocking, I know!

One of the things I love the most about watching poker (specifically Texas Hold 'Em) is the terminology they use.
For instance, the starting hands. Quite a few of them have particular names that actually make quite a lot of sense.
(Do you feel a quiz coming on? Because you should...)
