What started good turned to crap
The day started out great...
I was happy and very excited to be leaving early to go on vacation to Seattle tonight.
Then my husband called and was depressed and totally brought me down. Damn empathy. Damn depression that's ALWAYS JUST below the surface of my emotions and thoughts...
Thank GOD I only have less than 4 hours left of work.
Then I get to go home, change, hurry up and throw the rest of the stuff I should have packed last night into a bag, and run to the airport.
I WAS looking forward to this trip...
Ah, well...
You can't win them all...
