R.I.P. Oscar
Well, it looks like Oscar the turtle heard what I was saying (in this entry). My husband found him in the bottom of his tank yesterday on his side. When he picked him up, his head flopped limply around.
He's been slowing down over the last two weeks or so. In fact, I'd keep thinking he was dead, and would poke him with the fish net, and he'd wake up and give me a dirty look. He definitely wasn't as active as usual, though. Plus, we had given him two dozen goldfish to eat a few months ago, and there are still a few left. That's the longest he's ever left them in there.
Well, sorry to justmouse who expressed an interest in Oscar, but it appears that he's no longer available.
May he rest in peace...
