FINALLY did it
Okay. I did it. It's done. Ya'll can stop e-mailing me and leaving me notes telling me to call the dentist now.
The lady at the "root canal specialist" gave me their first available appointment. FEBRUARY 25th. Damn, that's a long time to wait.
She was asking questions and getting my information, and she said "Is it causing you pain at all?"
I considered telling her that my tooth hurt so badly last night at dinner that I asked my husband to hit me in the right side of the head with a baseball bat to take my mind off the pain from my left side. But I didn't.
I simply asked her, "So, should I just keep eating ibuprofen like it's candy until then, or what?" Truthfully I wanted some Vicodin or something. I have to take 4 Advil every 4 hours or so in order to keep the pain tolerable.
She just told me that they'd put me on the cancellation list, so perhaps they could get me in more quickly. I may have said "Thank God" or something to that effect.
After I get that done, I have to go BACK to the dentist so he can give me a crown.
Does that mean that on March 3rd, I'll become royalty?
